| AIR MAJOR: | A Clean Air Act Stationary Source Major discharger of air pollutants according to the Alabama power decision's definition of a major source or the 1993 EPA Compliance Monitoring Branch Classification Guidance. | GREENHOUSE GAS REPORTER: | Greenhouse gas reporters are required to annually report greenhouse gases (GHGs) from large GHG emission sources in the united states. Implementation of 40 CFR part 98 is referred to as the greenhouse gas reporting program (GHGRP) and applies to direct GHG emitters, fossil fuel suppliers, industrial gas suppliers, and facilities that inject CO2 underground for sequestration or other reasons. In general, the threshold for reporting is 25,000 metric tons or more of carbon dioxide (CO2) equivalent per year. Reporting is at the facility level, except for certain suppliers of fossil fuels and industrial greenhouse gases. |
